We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, profile photo, username, and bio. We also collect usage data including interactions with posts, stocks you view or follow, notification preferences, and device/browser information. When you use the AI Agent we also process the messages you type, voice audio during a voice session, and the watch tasks, trade proposals, trading mandates and paper trades you create (see section 4). If you paper trade options or create options alerts, we store your simulated options orders, positions, settlement results and alert rules; they are deleted with your account.

We use collected information to: provide and improve the StockTinder service; personalize your feed and stock recommendations; operate the AI Agent, AI Chart Analyzer and paper-trading features, including placing paper trades you approve or authorize and enforcing risk limits; keep an audit record of automated trading activity; prevent abuse through rate limits; send notifications about activity on your account; analyze usage trends to improve features; and communicate with you about updates or support.

Your profile and posts are public in the current product. Watchlist data is readable in social features, and some paper-trading activity is visible to signed-in users or through leaderboard/social features. StockTinder does not currently provide per-item visibility controls for all of these surfaces. AI Agent conversations, voice sessions, trading mandates, risk decisions and audit records are private to your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

AI Agent chat: your messages, recent turns of the same conversation, and the data the Agent looks up to answer (such as quotes, your paper portfolio, positions, watch tasks or proposals) are sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate replies. StockTinder does not store the text of these conversations on its servers. Recent Agent text conversation history may be stored locally on your device so you can resume the conversation; you can clear it from the Agent interface. Voice (where available, web only): voice only starts after you tap the microphone and grant microphone permission in your browser. Audio is streamed directly from your browser to the third-party AI model provider using a short-lived credential issued by StockTinder, for speech recognition and spoken replies. StockTinder does not record or store your voice audio or voice transcripts; it logs only that a voice session started. You can revoke microphone permission at any time in your browser settings. AI Chart Analyzer: chart levels and patterns are computed in the app from market data. To generate the explanation, the chart's symbol, timeframe and analysis results are sent to the AI provider; your account data is not. Ask AI on the chart adds your question. Automated trading records: StockTinder stores the watch tasks, trade proposals, trading mandates (your limits and when you enable or stop them), Risk Engine decisions and paper orders tied to your account, plus an audit log with timestamps and a fingerprint of each event's details. For typed Agent commands, the interpreted plan and command length are stored, not the command text.

StockTinder uses Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, storage, Cloud Functions, and related app infrastructure. Stock, ETF, options, fundamentals and news data are provided by Intrinio (stock prices from Intrinio EquitiesEdge, a real-time modeled price feed rather than the consolidated exchange tape; option values from Intrinio OptionsEdge synthetic fair-market values and end-of-day data). Crypto prices come from Kraken public market data, Treasury yields from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and congressional trades from official U.S. House Clerk and Senate disclosure filings. Market data providers are contacted only from StockTinder's servers; your device does not send your identity to them. AI Agent chat, voice, command interpretation and chart explanations use a third-party AI model provider, accessed only from StockTinder's servers or through short-lived session credentials; our permanent keys are never sent to your device. Error reporting can use Sentry when production error reporting is configured. These services have their own privacy policies and data practices.

We retain account data while your account is active. The in-app deletion flow removes the active account, profile, user content, paper-trading data, AI Agent watch tasks and proposals, trading mandates, risk decisions, audit records, stored media, follow relationships, and direct-message threads as part of the deletion process. Agent chat text and voice audio are not stored by StockTinder. Limited operational, security, payment, or legal records may be retained when reasonably necessary or required by law, and data sent to third-party providers is retained under their own policies.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules, server-only write access for trading and audit records, short-lived credentials for voice sessions, and per-account rate limits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

StockTinder is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors, including through voice features. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us to have it removed.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can update your profile at any time from the Settings page. To request account deletion, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of StockTinder after changes constitutes acceptance.

StockTinder does not train AI models on your content. Signals, scanner results, chart levels and trading decisions come from StockTinder's rule-based code. Data sent to the third-party AI model provider for Agent, voice and chart-explanation features is processed to generate responses under that provider's terms. Stock and Community interactions can be used to personalize ranking; the recommendation-weight profile is stored locally on your device. Private direct messages are never sent to the AI provider or used for recommendation ranking.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California (USA), you have additional rights: the right to know what data we hold, the right to portability, the right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'), and the right to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stocktinder.com with your request.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach via email and/or in-app notification, in accordance with applicable law.
