We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, profile photo, username, and bio. We also collect usage data including interactions with posts, stocks you view or follow, notification preferences, and device/browser information.

We use collected information to: provide and improve the StockTinder service; personalize your feed and stock recommendations; send notifications about activity on your account; analyze usage trends to improve features; and communicate with you about updates or support.

Your profile, posts, and trading activity are visible to other users by default. Your followers can see your posts and watchlist activity. You can adjust visibility settings in Privacy & Security settings. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

StockTinder uses Firebase (Google) for authentication, data storage, and analytics. Financial market data is provided by Financial Modeling Prep. These services have their own privacy policies and data practices. We recommend reviewing those policies as well.

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, and Firestore security rules. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

StockTinder is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us to have it removed.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can update your profile at any time from the Settings page. To request account deletion, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of StockTinder after changes constitutes acceptance.

StockTinder uses in-house AI algorithms to generate analysis and summaries. Your posts and activity data are NOT used to train any AI models. AI analysis is generated at request time using market data, not personal user content.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California (USA), you have additional rights: the right to know what data we hold, the right to portability, the right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'), and the right to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stocktinder.com with your request.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach via email and/or in-app notification, in accordance with applicable law.
