What Are Cookies & Local Storage?
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data stored on your device by the app or website. They allow the app to remember information between sessions, such as your login state and preferences.
How StockTinder Uses Them
As a React Native + web app, StockTinder uses Firebase SDK storage, AsyncStorage (mobile), and browser cookies (web) to maintain your authentication session, store preferences, and collect anonymized analytics.
Third-Party Services
Firebase (Google) and Financial Modeling Prep may set their own cookies or use storage mechanisms as part of the services they provide. We recommend reviewing Google's and FMP's privacy policies for details.
Managing Your Preferences
You can clear app storage at any time in your device Settings. On web, you can clear cookies through your browser settings. Note that clearing strictly necessary cookies will log you out of StockTinder.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add new features or third-party services. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
