AI-Powered Features
AI Stock Signals
Algorithmic signals that analyze price patterns, volume, fundamentals, and sentiment to surface potentially interesting stocks. Signals do not constitute buy or sell recommendations.
AI News Summaries
Large language model (LLM) summaries of financial news articles. Summaries may be incomplete or miss nuance in the original reporting.
AI Market Commentary
Automated market analysis and commentary generated by LLMs based on current market data. This is for educational context only.
AI Stock Discovery
Personalized stock discovery suggestions based on your watchlist, interactions, and community activity using collaborative filtering models.
Known Limitations
AI is powerful but imperfect. You should be aware of the following limitations:
AI models can be wrong — they do not predict the future
Models may reflect biases present in their training data
AI outputs may be outdated if market conditions change rapidly
Language models can hallucinate or produce inaccurate facts
Past AI signal accuracy does not guarantee future performance
AI does not consider your personal financial situation
Human Oversight
All AI features on StockTinder are built with human oversight. Our team regularly reviews AI outputs for accuracy and appropriateness. If you notice an AI error or harmful output, please report it using the flag feature.
Data Used to Train or Run AI
AI features use publicly available market data (prices, fundamentals, news) and aggregated, anonymized usage patterns. We do not use your private account data or messages to train AI models.
In-House AI — No Third Parties
All AI features on StockTinder — including stock summaries, market commentary, signals, and AI Chat — are built and run entirely in-house. We do not use third-party AI providers. No external AI service receives any of your data.
Signal Freshness
AI stock signals are generated when you view a card and use the most recent available market data. Signals are not stored for long periods and refresh on each session. News summaries may be up to several hours old depending on data provider refresh rates.
Opting Out of AI Features
You can disable AI-generated content in Settings → Preferences → AI Features. When disabled, stock cards will show only raw market data without AI summaries or signals. AI Chat remains opt-in and requires explicit user initiation.
Always Use Judgment
AI on StockTinder is a tool to surface ideas, not to make decisions for you. Treat AI output as one data point among many. Before acting on any investment idea — AI-generated or otherwise — always consult with a licensed financial advisor.
